Pull Apart Turkey

1. Bring turkey to room temperature and preheat oven to 325 F
2. Make herb butter: combine room temperature butter, BOU cubes, minced garlic, salt, pepper, 1 tbsp fresh chopped rosemary, 1 tbsp fresh chopped thyme, and 1/2 tablespoon of fresh chopped sage. (Use remaining fresh herbs for stuffing inside cavity of turkey)
3. Remove
turkey from packaging, remove everything from inside the turkey. Pat turkey
very dry with paper towels.
4. Season cavity of turkey with salt and pepper. Stuff it with the left-over
herbs, lemon, onion and apple.
5. Loosen and lift skin above the breasts (on the top of the
turkey) and smooth a few tablespoons of the herb butter underneath.
6. Tuck wings of turkey underneath turkey and set the turkey on a roasting
rack inside a roasting pan.
7. Microwave remaining herb butter mixture for 30 seconds. Using a basting brush, brush
the remaining herb butter all over outside of turkey.
8. Roast at 325 F for 3 hours or until internal temperature reaches 165F.
9. Remove
turkey from oven, cover with foil and let it rest on counter. If
you want a crispier skin broil uncovered for 5 minutes or until the skin
reaches the desired crispiness.
10. Pull apart and enjoy!
